Durante el encuentro se acord\u00f3 reforzar la cooperaci\u00f3n bilateral contra el narcotr\u00e1fico, el lavado de activos y la criminalidad organizada transnacional<\/em><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Santo Domingo.- La Embajadora de Estados Unidos en Rep\u00fablica Dominicana, Leah F. Campos se reuni\u00f3 por primera vez con el vicealmirante Jos\u00e9 Manuel Cabrera Ulloa, presidente de la Direcci\u00f3n Nacional de Control de Drogas (DNCD), oportunidad para reforzar la cooperaci\u00f3n bilateral en la lucha contra el narcoterrorismo y las operaciones conjuntas en curso.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

La DNCD ha seguido demostrando una s\u00f3lida capacidad operativa mediante importantes incautaciones y acciones coordinadas con la Administraci\u00f3n de Control de Drogas (DEA) y la Oficina de Asuntos Internacionales de Narc\u00f3ticos y Aplicaci\u00f3n de la Ley (INL), por sus siglas en ingl\u00e9s) del Departamento de Estado de los Estados Unidos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

La DEA y la INL han facilitado las operaciones conjuntas y el entrenamiento para la DNCD, fortaleciendo sus capacidades, incluyendo el apoyo a unidades especializadas y el intercambio de mejores pr\u00e1cticas en materia de interdicci\u00f3n e inteligencia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Esta colaboraci\u00f3n est\u00e1 dise\u00f1ada para fortalecer la capacidad institucional, mejorar los resultados operativos y fomentar la estabilidad regional.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
